I really appreciated your thoughts on preserving repertoire in memory. It is something I have struggled with too. I also liked your thoughts about tech or maybe too much tech. I have looked many times at the various online organizational and productivity "solutions" and while I am very attracted to tech solutions, I have always found these large platforms confusing and overly complex. I have been tempted many times to use them and then thought to myself as to whether I am being attracted to the "crack" of tech stuff and whether I would be spending more time learning this complex system rather than just doing the work. So I keep settling back into using (PC user here) my all purpose Microsoft OneNote program where I can make easy tables, check boxes, lists, drawings etc all in a note book like paradigm. This days it is such an interesting challenge to sift through the way too many options and figure out what works without unnecessary complexity or distraction. Every driver's mileage WILL vary. The need though for a maintenance schedule or paradigm is clearly important. Thanks for that discussion!
This finally motivated me to create my own song Kanban. Just did a simple table in Apple Pages on my iPad, which makes it easy to drag and drop songs between songs.
It was kind of motivating to see everything in one place, and to realize that many of those Started songs could become Improve songs with just a bit of work.
