You said "You can have anything you want, but you canβt have everything you want." Another iteration of Oliver Burkeman's concept of "finitude" in 4,000 Weeks. A concept that has definitely changed my life. Profound!
Oh please do. I think there is so much there to ground us in the actual reality of our lives and our relationship to the time we have during our lives. It also ties in perfectly with your premise of saying "no" in this last post. For me I think this is the main takeaway of realizing that the goal or point or idea is NOT time management, but choosing what really matters from a huge pile of all of the things that we would LIKE/LOVE to do but in reality can never have it all. I found that once I started really getting in touch with this in my life, a peace became available to me to stop striving wildly to "have it all". Now I choose very carefully and am much more content. I am so grateful for that! Nice chatting widja!

I'll have to give 4k Weeks another go.
I get annoyed when people use the words "capitalism" or "socialism" as a catch-all term to mean "a thing I don't like."
After the ~tenth time, I bounced from that book (despite enjoying its basic premise).
