Iโve just moved over to MuseScore recently, and while there is some really cool stuff, I do relate to some of your frustrations. Being a native GuitarPro user there were certainly a lot of things that were just harder to do in MuseScore. The learning curve is a little step. That being said, there is potential, so Iโm sticking with itโฆ.for now.
Iโve been really impressed with the pace of improvements. In the year since I wrote this, theyโve fixed the crashes, the drum editor, added system lock, etc etc etc
When they add a proper keyboard shortcuts editor and Smufl support there will be very little reason to prefer other scorewriters.
